LARGO FONTANA NUOVA

The wide space called “Largo Fontana Nuova,” situated at the beginning of Corso Numistrano, served as a natural meeting place, being a short distance from the town hall, the cathedral, the bishopric, and the market. At the end of the 1930s its fountain was placed in what was then known as Piazza Littorio (today Piazza Rotonda).

This ancient plaza is now called Piazza Stocco.
